We invite you to join us March 8 for our Southeast Blended Learning Leaders Forum for a hands-on, interactive, and collaborative workshop to explore the crucial steps of designing and building an effective blended learning program. We look forward to providing you with the expertise, information, and tools needed to develop a program that helps you meet the challenges facing your district and your students.

The Forum will feature:

  • A Discussion around integrating Project-Based Learning and other complementary learning models into blended learning environments
  • A complimentary step-by-step guide that details how to plan, implement, and measure a blended learning program

About our Speakers:

         Kwame Simmons, CEO, The Simmons Advantage
Kwame Simmons is a dynamic educator who uses an innovative approach to revolutionize urban education. He created the first school wide one-to-one and blended learning school for DC Public Schools that was featured in the Washington Post. While in St. Louis, his efforts led his school to receive national recognition for several awards, including Most Improved School of the Year. Most recently, Mr. Simmons received the “Excellence in Education Award” from the BET HONORS and was featured on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Kwame Simmons received his undergraduate degree from Hampton University in History and graduate degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University in Organizational Development and Leadership and Macdonough School of Business, Georgetown University in Executive Masters in Education. He currently works as an educational consultant for school transformation as well as an Adjunct Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Molly Hoehn, education consultant, Fuel Education
Over the course of her career, Molly has held a variety of roles that have allowed her to shape education. She has been a classroom high school teacher, online instructor, AP coordinator, district level curriculum specialist, online content developer, and an educational consultant in the digital space. Most recently, she has enjoyed the privilege of helping individual schools and districts shape policy and implement blended and online programs. Molly holds both a graduate and bachelor degree in Literature and additional ESOL certifications.
